World problems

Everyone has some problems, but world problems are the most serious. There is a lot of problems in the world and people will have to start think about it right now, because it´s important for the future. People can´t work out the problems with themself, it´s necessary to get together and cooperate with others to solve it. It´s a problem of Worlds Problems that people don´t want to help each other. It sounds like paradox, but it´s truth. Let´s go to talk about some major problems.

Population expansion

New people are borned every day. The Earth will be overcrowded completely in several centuries. It´s main problem in poor states like China or India, where the parents have many children. There is forbidden to have more than two children in a family in China. Other states of the world can´t help them with this problem so much. Fortunately, because of my family, I live in Czech Republic.

Mineral resources

The world mineral resources are limited like an oil, a natural gas, a coal, which people need to their lives. Oil for petrol producing, natural gas for factories or our homes and coal for power stations. People are wasting with it and if they go on doing that, huge crisis should come in the future. There would be nothing without energy on the world. Fortunately some smart people and scientists found the renewable resources. We can extract energy from a wind (windmills), water (watermills) and sun (solar panels). It´s very important for mankind and I think it will have good enforcement in the future.

Environmental problems

I think, that air pollution is the serious problem and other environmental problems like an acid rain, ozon layer and cutting down the rainforests as well. Every day tons of toxic gases gets to the air from cars, airplanes, ships, sprays and factories where fossils fuels are burned and it´s destroying the ozon layer protecting us from ultraviolet ray. The toxic gases are also mixed with water wapour and it causes an acid rain. Acid rains destroy rainforests which we need, because big rainforests in Africa and India are the „lungs of the world“. And we need to breath. The Nature is single on the Earth and we should realize it and instead of devastating the Nature we must protect it. For example we can save energy, save water, we can separate out the litters, we can use unleaded petrol or use the CFC-free sprays. We also shouldn´t pick the flowers and other green plants which are important for a photosynthese..

AIDS

Once upon a time, a crew of monkies lived in Africa. They had some kind of animal virus no dangerous for people. But the virus mutated and had started to spreading between the mankind. The new virus was called HIV, that mean Human Immunodeficiency Virus and it´s transmiting infection with blood. That sickness calles AIDS and it´s most extended incurably ilness all the world, which attack your immunity. Your immunity absolutely collapse in worst stadium and you can die onto simple illness like flue or cough. Thousands of peole are infected with HIV every day, because of sex with unknow partner or bad treating with injection needle, especially between junkies. AIDS is killing milions people every time, most of victims are in Africa. There is a couple alternatives, how to solve it. We can believe, that someone´ll find a medicine for AIDS as soon as possible, we should use the condoms, or just to be a faithful to our partner. Junkies should to use steril needles or stop to take drugs definitely. And other one opportunity is to exterminate the people with AIDS..nooo, just kidding:)

Famine

Famine is one of the most serious problems of the world, especially in Africa. The most of nations there are very underdeveloped. There is no infertile soil (ground without humus), so people cant´t cultivate it. The most of people are uneducated, because there are no schools and if there are, the education is too expensive for the citizens. People live in awful conditions there. Fortunately there are lots of organizations and people, who are helping in Africa. For example French organization Medicines Sans Frontiéres (Doctors Without Borders) or the Charity. It´s very popular to help Africa today. It´s a modern celebrities hobbie. If you help, it´s good advertising and people say you´re very kind. I think you know Bono Vox from U2, David Beckham or Zinedine Zidane (musel sem ho tam ňák vetřít, no:))who are helping so much. They spend milions of euros to help little, poor and weak black people every year. Although it´s very kind, I think that it is not a solution to send milions of tons of food to Africa, because people will eat it and be hungry again. There´s need to build factories, schools and houses, educate people and employ them. I hope that Africa will sometimes be advanced continent like Europe or America.

Wars and Conflicts

The fighting, wars and conflicts are problems all the time. You can see lots of conflicts in the world on TV. The war in Iraq against the terrorism is actual nowadays,. It wasn´t great problem in the past, because the soldiers fighted with old weapons like sword, hammer, stick, or simply hands but today all of the world powers have nuclear weapons. The nuclear bombs were used once in a history of mankind. It was at the end of WWII.in Nagasaki, Hiroshima, you know it. It´s the greatest threat for a mankind, because nuclear weapons existing today could destroy the Earth completely. Albert Einstein said:"If there are nuclear weapons in WWIII., in WWIV. we would be fighting with hands and sticks." I hope that there´ll be a peace on the Earth one day.

Drugs and smoking

Many young people smoke. They know that it´s bad for health, but they still do it. They want to perform to their friends. Some of them say that it relaxes them when they are nervous. Some like the taste and others say that they can´t stop it. But I think most of them are doing it only because the don´t want to be out. The cigarettes mean profit for tobacco companies but they mean diseases for doctors. Lots of people who smoke die because of lung cancer. More and more young people also take drugs. We know these kinds of drugs: soft (for example marijuana), hard drugs (heroin and cocaine) and legal drugs (alcohol, cigarettes). People shouldn´t take drugs, they can get poissoned. Mostly, the people start to take drugs, if they can´t solve their personal problems. Maybe they want to be in „another world“. Some people take drugs because they want to try them, but they may become junky. Today, drug business is the second biggest business in the world. Only the army business is bigger. I think that we should do something with this problem. For example beating up the dealers.

Terrorism

It´s also a big world problem. I think, that it´s a big danger for the future. Terrorists usually are fanatic persons. They want to kill as many people as possible because of Saint War called Djihad. Everyone remembers 11th September 2001 when two jet airliners were flyawayed and they crashed into the twin towers of World Trade Center in New York. The third plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. Many innocent people were killed. The terrorists were Muslims and they were controlled by their chef is Osama bin Laden. He´s a boss of Taliban organization in Afghanistan. There weren´t only Americans in WTC, but also many people of various nationalities and religion views. There were Chtistians, Muslims, Jews, Atheists or Buddhists so it wasn´t attack only against the USA but against the whole West world. Muslims do it because of their religion. It´s very complicated to fight aginst the terrorism with success. I think that it will be the most dangerous problem in the future.

A world without misery, violence and famine is something we can still only wish for. We should protect our world and we must fight with world problems right now.
